I've been with these guys for over 5 years and the service has been awsome. I usually don't go out of my way to write reviews by these guys deserve it. Whenever you have a support issue and submit an online issue, they are usually working on it within 2 minutes (if not sooner). If it's a straightforward issue you'll have an answer in minutes. If it's more complicated they usually get the right people on it for a speedy resolution.
I have a variety of sites with a few host providers. ICD is the best where it counts. If you just have one website and you do not need shared SSL the pricing will actually be less for you than other host providers. If you have a variety of sites and you want add on domains you can have up to 15 subdomoains (www.subdomain.maindomain.com). You cannot have extra domains with the appearance www.domainname.com. If you want shared SSL you will need to get your own SSL certificate. So, it you need these extras then the ICD pricing will seem average.
What is so important is you always experience you are not alone dealing with customer or tech support. In minutes through their support ticket system you will ALWAYS receive the best attention
with out waiting extended periods of time. Their servers are very stable. If I could rate Customer Support (also tech support) and Reliability a 10 on this site I would. ICD provides optimism and stability in the host provider business.
I'm hosting two websites at ICDSoft and I have never had a problem. They seem to be very reliable. The email support is terrific - very fast and very knowledgeable. They seem to have a really well-managed operation.
I've been with these guys for a very long time.
As I write this, I'm researching another host only because they do not offer Windows hosting, which I now desire.
I have to say the tech support is freaking awesome.
Space is only 1GB for my modest plan, but oh well.
Rock solid control panel.
I've even done a couple of referrals, and gotten a check in the mail for it!
4 out of 5 for reliabilty, ONLY because there's been times lately that my e-mail just seems really slow, and I've seen slow pings, though each time, by the time I report it, it's cleared up...

About the latency you have experienced, could you please check which of our data centers you have chosen for your website? We currently have servers in Boston (USA), Frankfurt (Germany), and Hong Kong. Perhaps you are not using the one that is closest to you? You can always contact our customer support for assistance with such issues. I can assure you that slow ping response times are not acceptable for us.

Best host I've used! I first went with PolurNET, which according to reviews was supposed to be pretty good. It worked for a while, but then the server I was on went down. I submitted a ticket, and after several days, I didn't get a response. After studying several user review sites, I went to ICDSoft, and I've never been happier! I've contacted support a couple of times in the evening and weekends, and they've responded and processed my requests within 15 minutes (by email!) So far, I haven't experienced any downtime, and the servers are fast.
Icdsoft is an excellent dependable host. Support is fast and effective. The Universal packages includes a full list of features that provides everything I need plus plenty of room for growth. I have used several other hosts, but none offer the rock-solid operation that icdsoft does. They are good, real good! You don't find any of the usual marketing glitz at icdsoft. Their website is professional and straightforward; they report the facts clearly and intelligently. Icdsoft is the host that I measure all the others against.
Never had a problem with downtime. Support tickets are always answered promptly and clarification provided whenever needed. If there was only some way to add everyone in my webmail address book to a whitelist at once, things would be perfect.
ICDSoft have an awesome reputation for service and uptime. They do not offer huge bandwidth or storage, but what they do offer, they deliver. Their support (ticket system) is fast, efficient and helpful.
In short they are ideal for sites that are not too heavy on bandwidth.
They do have some areas they could still improve on however... for example :
They do not provide private (personal) SSL - just a shared SSL - which is not particularly acceptable to modern browsers - or online sales - furthermore, if you choose to get your own private SSL, ICDSoft then make a significant charge simply to install the private SSL which you might buy elsewhere.
I would hope to see ICDSoft offering a private SSL solution without having to purchase one from elsewhere and then pay an installation fee for it on top.
They offer unlimited email accounts - however, they do not make it easy to manage the settings of email globally - for example clock changes for "daylight saving time", all this is a manual process - whereas a global change for managing email accounts from the control panel would be a whole lot easier.
Also, their email SPAM controls - particularly adding email addresses to a "blacklist" is too complicated - it could be improved to give more control to the user on limiting spam. Currently, spam on email is made difficult to control from the mail server end, as the options for detecting spam/ unwanted email are too inefficient.
I have used a few, but i really cant recommend these guys any higher. My best experience was a 5 min reply to a support ticket on a Christmas day.
If you want reliable, low-cost, excellent reseller discounting etc, dont bother looking elsewhere. They dont provide cpanel/whm based reselling scenarios - but if you want quality, dont bother going elsewhere.

I have been using ICDsoft for about 5 years now. I stumbled upon them and found their services to be well priced for what I was looking for. Since I've started using them, my prices have not increased, but their offerings have. They have upped my transfer and storage limits, along with a few other things. Anytime I have had a problem, I typically have gotten a response within 10 minutes. Even when my website was hacked, not only did they help me to restore my site, they also assisted in finding the problem.
I would strongly recommend ICDsoft to anyone who is looking for a good hosting company. Currently we are hosting 30+ sites with them and have nothing but good things to say.
I have been with ICDSoft for more than 5 years and within the last 2 years have added 12 more sites to my account. ICDSoft is nothing short of phenomenal.
Some may balk that there is no phone support. In my experience, it is not an issue. Their email support is so fast, so good, that you have the solution or the first step to the solution in less time than you would spend in a call support queue.
A recent situation with a buggy commercial PHP based program is one example of how good these people are. This software install was in the early test stage, a commercial eCommerce package. Its URL was not publicized anywhere (though I had not excluded it with robots.txt). A hacker found this installation and used a PHP exploit to get into the site. Within an hour, ICDSoft shut down the hackers access and notified me about the exploit and gave specifics as to what happened and how to fix it. Tech and customer support was extremely helpful. Within 2 hours, I had the clients site back online. Without their oversight and help, I would have had a disaster on my hands.
They roll out/update features only when the underlying technology is rock-solid. The only things on my wishlist that I have at the moment are:
1. - Ability to assign a mail only administration login to reset passwords. This would be a great tool for my customers.
2. - An eCommerce solution package. I would gladly pay for that if the price were reasonable and its security was rock-solid.
They have taken these recommendations and have submitted them for review. They do listen to their customers. The first suggestion has been submitted to the decision makers and taken into consideration. They want to assure security and stability with their services, and only then will they consider offering it.
I highly recommend them, especially if you are looking for a hosting solution to build your Web design business.
There are 2 reasons why this is just an excellent web hoster and not 100% perfect.
1) If you want shared SSL upon going onto the secure order form a dialog box shows that one has to manually check off that they are willing to trust to go onto the form. I believe this can be done away with, but it is not. To get rid of this box purchasing a private SSL certificate is needed. ICD Soft does not sell this. But they do receive a yearly $30 fee to apply it to your site after you have purchased the certificate elsewhere.
2) As time goes on in the web hosting business there are some good web hosting companies offering unlimited add on domains, sub-domains which can be typed in as www.yourdomainname.com. ICD allows 15 subdomains in one package and 30 in another. This is great, but you will have to type www.subdomain.yourdomain.com. I believe they can program such that you could just type in the more professional look of www.yourdomainanme.com.
Economically this is a plus for them. But, if the customer wants to have the more professional look www.yourdomainname.com you have to purchase more individual accounts, which do come with great discounts. You end up paying 50% less when purchasing 7 accounts. This comes to $210 USD yearly opposed to a web host provider that may charge under $100 yearly for unlimited add on domains.
ICD Soft's support is so good and their stability in regard to hassle free uptime is so excellent, loyal customers half to make a choice whether to pay the extra money or to leave.
For me I have my most popular sites with ICD Soft. I cannot have all my 15 + websites with them because of the expense. I wish they could provide a package for more complicated issues. I realize economics and efficiency is a primary factor, which makes ICD Soft successful.
Well, where do I begin... If you are reading this, you are probably in the market for a new host. I can tell you with 100% honesty you will not find better uptime or service out there. On the surface you may see that what they allow you for space & bandwidth may be lower than other hosts, but ask yourself what service and uptime are worth to you? I'll be honest, a few years ago I switched away from ICDSoft because I thought I needed all the extra space & bandwidth the other hosts were offering. As you can see, I am back with ICDSoft. The "other" guys were terrible. Service was not even close to what you get with ICDSoft. When other write reviews and say support responses are around 10 minutes, this is not a joke. I average around 3 minutes when I send in a request. Don't take my word for it, visit the site and send them a question. You will be shocked when you get a "human" response in only a couple of minutes.
Bottom line is ICDSoft is rock solid. I recommend them to my friends and I can assure you that you will not regret giving them a chance to earn your business. As of this review they had a 60 day money back guarantee. So what do you have to lose?
I had been searching around for a good, cheap hosting company and once I found one that looked promising I'd search "(company name) sucks" and so forth. Usually this method provided me a lot of negative reviews, but not with ICD. So I decided to try them. Thus far I am very pleased. Initial site up in hours, all support queries responded to extremely quickly, easy control panel for a novice such as myself, etc. I was a bit wary of folks offering things like 800TB of storage or whatever because it seemed like a marketing ploy, but I can understand why ICD's smaller capacity may be off-putting to some. Still, I'd recommend them to a friend for sure.

I found ICDSoft by searching a web hosting review site like this one. Since I've been a member, I've been nothing but pleased with ICDSoft. Their technical support is awesome! They don't have a phone number to call, but they usually reply to my email support ticket within 10 minutes. Their servers seem pretty fast and their uptime is great. The only period of time when their servers were down was earlier in 2007 due to some power outage. I recommend and resell ICDSoft to all of our web design clients. I have used other hosting companies just to test the waters and I still think ICDSoft rocks.
Their storage space is a little on the small side, but their uptime and customer service makes up for it every bit. I have enjoyed their service and would recommend it to anyone.
This hosting company has been rock solid from the beginning. The only issue they ever had with my site was when the fiber was snagged/cut in Asia and some of their servers hosted there were intermittently unavailable. Support is web-based and reasonably fast. I have recommended them to others and everyone who ended up using their service was quite happy.
I find is weird that this company is not showing on this site. This company goes above and beyond to satisfy their customers. Their support responds is within minutes (although i never had any major issues). I have opened over 5 accounts with them in the past 3 years and never had any problems. Very very good hosting.
ICD has been a great experience for me. I did a lot of searching before I picked my hoster and this one looked to be the best pick for me. And I have had a great experience so far. The price is very reasonable compared to other hosts I've seen. I also just opened another site with them and I got a nice discount on that for already having another account with them so I thought that was nice. As for customer support I absolutely love it, I have had to contact support a few times so far and each time I've experienced great response time and very helpful information, they have fixed every problem thus far. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good, steady, host.
My two complaints are that ICDsoft does not support multiple domain hosting, and low disk storage capacity compared to other companies. I have outgrown their 1000mb storage capacity for the basic plan. I will be moving to a different hosting company for a new domain, but will stick with ICDsoft for another year just in case they change their plan or if the other company isn't worth it.
In other areas, ICDsoft proved reliable and respectable. They have top-notch customer service, responding to trouble tickets *immediately* and consistently. I wish this were the standard for customer service in all industries.
If you have only one domain to host and don't need huge disk storage, ICDsoft is the #1 choice, hands down.

An amazing hosting company. Uptime is great and the support team are amazing, they go beyond what is expected to help you. Could not have asked for a better hosting company in my opinion! Will be with them for a long time.
Tech Support: No 24/7 phone number to call or online chat (unfortunately) however their ticket support system is spot on. I have never waited more than an hour or so for remedies to my often complex problems. Shortest wait was fifteen minutes.
Reliability: I had a VPS with Servint and let it go in favor of HTTPme as I found better reliability, and better SECURITY!
User Forums: A must IMHO. The best forum I am affiliated with is the HTTPme forum (should be called 'family')

Great support and pricing. It may not have all the latest features etc. ( autoinstall of CMS packages, Forums etc. ) but it's simple, inexpensive, and reliable. We have several domains hosted at ICDosft for several years, and have only had 1 outage.
I just wish they had an upgrade path to a dedicated server, as the shared hosting can be slow some times.
Awesome customer support! Seriously, you get an answer from them within minutes pretty much no matter what time of the day (I haven't had one of my questions take more than 3 minutes to be answered).
So far reliability has been great as well. Can't complain about anything really EXCEPT that you can only host 1 site. You can park domains (like have your .net .org etc all point to your .com) though.
ICDsoft has incredible service. For most of my support requests, I have received a reply in five minutes or less, and they always do a good job with helping my problems(I've had less than 10 problems in 5 years of hosting with them). Their service is also very reliable, as I haven't had any trouble connecting/using my site.
If you compare their plan to other hosts their only con is pricing. The basic ICDsoft plan is $6/month, and on some other sites you can get a lot more space and bandwidth. But, of course, some of the other sites that oversell hosting also have terrible service and reliability.
No long history with these folks yet however I must make these observations because fair is fair: I and some others were forced to change hosts due to our host "going out of business". What an absolute jungle out there! After A LOT of true amateur research I found very, very little negativity concerning ICDSoft...a lot about other hosts that are rated high on this site however. I had to make a move immediately and went with them and so far it has been an exquisite trip. Immediate account setup and I had a number of questions that I sent via email and they were answered precisely, accurately, logically and in easy to understand terms in....UNBELIEVEABLE....less than 15 minutes...EVERY TIME! That is unheard of anywhere. Several were answered in less than 7 minutes and answering MAC questions was no problem. I became a reseller for them and that was just as painless. So far everything is good...if it changes I will post again but for now I and my 8 customers in the USA are happy.

I've been with IDCsoft for a while now and I have to say they are amazing. I first signed up with them because the price was extreamly reasonable, and i had heard good things about their support. Now, i honestly didn't think i would use the customer support very much since it wasn't something I really grew into. But since I am fairly new to internet programming and that sort of thing I have used it several times. Wow, I must say they are GOOD! I have had responses in a short amount of time and they have solved my problem every time. Excellent service would defenitly recommend to others.

I have been hosting with powweb and free host before signup with ICDSoft. Powweb give you big space and bandwidth with cheap pricing but the service & support is not good enough. I experience slow n downtime almost every month with powweb. But im not going to talk about powweb here.
If you looking for really good service & support, signup with ICDSoft. They didnt give large space and bandwidth BUT THE SERVICE AND SUPPORT IS FANTASTICS!
Within an hour after signup i can login my control panel(CP) and my domain is active!!!. Thats fast coz when i signup with powweb it took me a day to see domain. I like the CP, coz it really nice and helpful. On the left navigation menu, there is LIVE stats/information about your space, bandwidth, ftp account, etc.
If you using mysql4, they recommended to chg to mysql5. Not forcing but as early notice bcoz they might chg to mysql5 completely soon. Been with ICDSoft for 3 month, yet they havent tell us anything about moving to mysql5. Wht i mean here is, they let you know early and let you prepare for it first. more nice about them is, they provide a tools to convert your database from mysql4 to mysql5. At first i was thought it going to take long time to convert as my database size is 300mb++. But it only took less then 1 minute. Some other hosting only give you tutorial how to do it.
They provide you free statistics(Webalizer) and you can set the pwd. I send them 1 ticket, they then respond me back less then hour. They keep their promise :) "We are here for you - 24/7!" on their website is not just decoration like other hosting.
You can upload your database using phpmyadmin up to 20mb max. Other hosting use default 2mb or 8mb only. And uploading it really fast ^^
i experience 1 slow loading about 5 minutes today as im going to write this review. I chk their website also same. Maybe they updating something. But its nothing compare to other hosting may take few days.

The fact is, ICDSOFT has some of the best customer support I've ever encountered. They're honest, fast, and thorough; in fact, I never waited more than an hour, even when submitting support tickets at 3 or 4 in the morning on a weekend. They've provided more than what I need.
The pricing plan is good, and the control panel is nice as well. They even have nice scripting extras and spamassassin. Domain registration is a few dollars too high (if you're doing bulk domains especially), but that's my only complaint. Thanks ICDSoft!!
We are hosting till now 6GB of mp3 from conferences, and managing all these files with PHP scripts in combination with MySql, offering audio streaming, podcast and downloading of audio files. We are also using some Perl scripts.

We feel that Icdsoft really take care and appreciate clients; this sounds “estrange for nowadays” but it is what we feel.
Is a little expensive in comparison with other hosting sellers, but it is very very difficult to find elsewere such a support service. For us this is the principal aggregate value. One of the best things from ICDSOF is the Impressive, fast and very professional guaranteed 24/7 support, within one hour, guaranteed - We have never wait for more that 10 minutes for a response. This is true!!! and the best thing is that the support teem really knows about every thing related with your hosting (sales, billing, tech) and give always the right answer, you don’t have to explain more than once!!! They answer what you're asking. It is great that they have help us in installing some Php and cgi scripts, even when they "don't have" to help with it.
I'm also satisfied with then complete-usefull-easy2use Control Panel.
One more thing: they have upgraded (disk space, traffic) for free to ALL their clients, giving 50% more for free. Also they offer 20% discount for new accounts, reseller programs, they give you money if you promote their hosting.

I am a web designer and reseller with 18 active accounts at ICDSoft. They simply can not be beat. They guarantee 1 hour support, but it is ALWAYS within MINUTES that you get a reply. They have done everything from explaining MX records to fixing complex PHP code for me. A quick summary:
Support: you will not find better support anywhere, I promise you.
Uptime: I have NEVER had even a blip in server functioning
Price: you can't beat the price. With their sliding scale (for resellers), you will get a full year of hosting for less than $40/year.
They could double their price and I would stay with them. They are that good and you won't be disappointed. I don't think I will ever leave. You won't either.
Uptime and support have been excelent - they actually answer their emails, and within a few minutes! Cant quibble abaout the price either. Basic plan limits recently increased to 1GB,20GB/mo. Only let down is the slightly slow SMTP server.
Okay I must say that I shyed away from ICDsoft at first because they only offer 750mbs of space. But after going with them, because of their good reviews and good pricing, I realized that they are an absolutely amazing company. Their tech support always answers my questions within 5 minutes. And they have even given me PHP support mySQL support. If you are looking for a top-notch host that will listen to the customer, GO WITH ICDsoft.
I have been using ICD Soft for 3 years now. I manage 2 websites full time and another occasionally, all managed by ICD Soft. I have never had down time...ever. When you compare the price of ICD with some other web hosts, you might think that it is a bad deal because you can find more storage space and bandwidth elsewhere, but the reliability that you find with ICD is great. I have dealt with there customer service on several occasions for minor questions and problems (mostly stemming from my lack of knowledge on a particular configuration) and they were happy to fully answer my questions and provide me with code hints to make my site work right. And all this within a half an hour (Many times less than that). I would keep them just because of the excellent support. I have not seen support like this on a personal (non corporate level) from any company that I have interacted with (Dell, Microsoft, ATI, Gateway, etc.) and for that I am grateful. If you want a place to host a small business, church, or personal website, then ICD Soft is for you. I recomend them whole heartedly and will continue to host all of the sites that I build and manage with them.
Great support. Never had to wait more than 90 minutes for help. Uptime is great. Not many features or add-ons for web site (no SQL, at least on my plan, for example). Mail system is superb, with spam controls, webmail and mailing list management about as good as one could want.
Only drawback is load times in U.S. are a bit on slow side, since servers are in Hong Kong.

Superb support - I maintain approx 8 sites, all at ICDSoft. I tend to place fairly technical support calls. In over 400 support calls (almost never for a problem, almost always for an implementation or coding question) I have never (ever) had worse than 15 min first response, usually with an appropriate resolution. Calls that took longer clearly needed to take longer.
I you do not need a silly amount of space, their support and feature set is hard to beat.
Fantastic host. I have used a couple of others and finally switched to ICDSoft. I can't see me ever switching to a different host. Excellent support via email. Very prompt and thorough. I can't imagine being happier with a hosting service.
I have 3 sites with them. Customer service is second to none. All my support requests are handled under 5 minutes. They even re-installed my content management system for me after they found out the problem I had stemmed from me installing the wrong version.

I started using icdsoft a few years back on the recommendation of a co-worker of mine. I'm amazed at the level of service that they provide given the price they charge. It has been a very pleasant 3 years of service.
When I first joined, they used a "pop before authentication" for doing mail sending authentication. I submitted a ticket to them asking for something better, as the mail client I was using didn't provide for this. A few months later, they came out with true smtp authentication (works for Mac/PC/whatever else). Next, I found that as I travelled, I needed mail to be run at a different port, as many ISP's screen off port 25. I submitted another ticket, and a couple of months later they started running a mail server at an alternate port. They actually listed to some customer requests! Amazing! :) More recently, they have added a very primitive (and limited) cron type of functionality which helps since there is no shell access. Sufficient for many peoples needs.
As others have noted, support is very responsive and I've never waited more than 15 minutes or so for a response.
About the only things I wish for are a little more recent version of mysql (wanted to use subqueries, which weren't supported in the rev they have out there, but got around it with unions), and also wish they provided more space for storage (even if they charged an "upgrade" price).
i have had very few problems with these guys. a few minor mistakes but they were always dealt with well.
their control panel system is absolutely fantastic. it is all redesigned CPanel functions in their own simplistic interface. they have reduced all the Webmail clients down to a single perfect client.... a really professional job.
I feel their prices are a little on the high side compared to what bandwidth you get. However their support is really worth it for me. they help with things like Htacess files, and almost any web admin question you have. Its really worth the extra money just for that.
Incredible hosting provider. The support from these guys is without comparison. If they provide windows hosting also, they would be the # 1 provider for me.
More to add: I\'ve played around with my new hosting plan, and I absolutely love it even more (is that possible?). The control panel is UNBELIEVABLE. Granted, I\'m not a heavy Unix user, so losing Shell access wasn\'t a big deal. In fact, a lot of things I do in Shell prompt I can do in the control panel. I can even do cron jobs! The best part for me, by far, is having the ability to edit my HTML/PHP pages directly in the file manager (simple text edits). I was planning on installing Movable Type both as a blog and as an online web-based editor, but this is even better! And the control panel is so intuitive, clean, attractive, simple, quick, and... fun! I don\'t even need my crappy MySQL counter as it has one for you (you can create multiple counters). You can even create the 404 error page -- all from within the control panel!
I am SO GLAD I found Web Hosting Jury! And because of it, I've decided to switch from Olm.net (read: many downtimes!) to ICDSoft. Service is unbelievable. When I read the reviews, I didn't believe it, but I literally get an answer just minutes after I've e-mailed them... and this is even before I've placed my order! And everything was really set up in an hour. It's nuts, and I really don't know how that pull it off. The overall setup was TOO easy, and their control panel is a gazillion times better than Olm.net or anyone else's that I've seen. So many features and menus, and everything's lightning fast. I wish I had more disk space for $5/month, but I'm just being greedy, so don't mind me. Their webmail is very fancy, too (I hated Squirrelmail!). All of the e-mails they sent me had a professional yet personal tone to them. Not only were they concise in their responses, but they were all typed in perfect, coherent English! I will try and update this review once I've used them for a bit longer. I just had to post as my way of thanking both IDCSoft and fellow reviewers. I plan to use them for my coworker's non-profit website (50% off if you're already a customer!). I'll be sure to spread the word to my friends, too!
This host company gets a 10 out of 10 from me. Impeccable support, yes on weekends too, fast servers and very well priced. I'm in NY/NJ area, I don't work or know anybody at ICDSOFT but I have to give credit when credit is due.

I came across ICDSoft in early 2003; each year my domain is up for renewal, I curiously look around for alternatives but nothing ever really sticks out above ICDSoft. So I continue to renew each year with them. They are solidly reliable, highly expedient at tech support and VERY VERY competitive for the pricing. Even now, this year, I'm looking around just to see what's out there, and I'm 99.9999999995% sure I'll renew with ICDSoft. Great work, guys!
I've used ICDSoft for my personal webpage for about 2 years now and they've always been reliable. For the 1 or 2 times that I have had to use tech-support the response is super-fast and genuine, no canned answers.
For the price, it is amazing.
servers respond fast, and ive never experienced down time.features are very good. and they increased everyones bandwidth for free a while ago.
things i didnt like:
-no ssh
-i was running a cgi web proxy and they made me take it down.
-i had a script getting 10,000 hits an hour, and though i hadnt even used up half of my allotted bandwidth, the script was blocked by them.

I have been using ICDSOFT since March of 2004. I switched to ICDSOFT after starting with a cut-rate hosting company. I have sent many friends to ICDSOFT without any hesitation.
My customer support questions are answered within 1 hour. The answers I receive are clear and very helpfull.
The only drawback that I can see are the sizes of the plans they offer. Due to this drawback, I will be moving to a new company in March of 2006 in order to expand my site and all the image galleries I need.
I hope I can find another company that has treated me as good as ICDSOFT.

I have been with icdsoft for a long time. While they don't have much variety in their packages (they only have two...they had just the one when I first signed up so they are improving), what they do offer is outstanding. Their tech support is extremely fast. I have gotten responses to my e-mails not even 5 minutes later. It is a shame that you can't host multiple sites on one account but that's the only gripe I have about them. They only allow domain parking. I highly recommend using this host if you don't have multiple sites. If you do have multiple sites and can afford the expense I would recommend getting more than one account with them.
I've used different hosts in the past but after trying ICDsoft I transferred all domains over to them and have used them exclusively to host five sites for approximately 2 years now.
I've have never had a problem with any of the sites being down (that I am aware of). Their control panel is intuitive and powerful. Their service offers me a lot of freedom when creating/modifying my sites with support for PHP, MySQL, PERL and all that good stuff.
I've used their technical support via their web system a few times regarding domain name transfers and MySQL questions. They were always quick to respond (usually within 15-20 minutes) with the solutions to my issues (or my dumb questions).
I've been very happy with their service and recommend them to anyone.

This is by the far the best Hosting Site out there on the internet. They ensure privacy and are ultimately the best. They offer services like none other. If there is one thing i love about them the most, it is there Tech Support. 24/7 and guaranteed within the hour, though i have never had to wait more that 10 minutes.
Some sites also do stuff like make you advertise them even if you pay or not listen to suggestions and never communicate or anything. ICDSoft communicated to me that they were performing a System Upgrade and that my Site would be down for an hour, and apologized. It was done at 10:30 at night, and didn't affect me at all, but it was nice that i just got information from them.
I can't praise ICDSoft highly enough, especially for their rapid and enthusiastic customer services. Questions usually get answered within minutes.
My only complaint is that to lock a domain against transfer, it's necessary to explicitly request it via a trouble ticket. There's no setting the domain owner can use to toggle the transfer lock on or off, as there is with some other registrars.
This is a minor complaint, however. I've had two webhosting accounts with them for about two years, and I am now in the process of transferring most of my other webhosting accounts and domains to ICDSoft. ICDSoft is really quite excellent, and offers excellent value for relatively low cost. I can't praise them highly enough.
I have had icdsoft for about 3+ years and I have been very pleased. The service and support is amazing. I have asked numerous questions and they have never responded in less than 15 minutes (most of the time they respond within 3-5 minutes). Pretty amazing. I have subsequently have encouraged at least 3 other people to sign up (and none have had problems).
Overall, it is a great deal for a quick 1-person domain name website. My only problem is that they only offer up to 1.5 GB of space (and that costs $10 a month). Nevertheless, because of their incredibly support I still strongly recommend them.
After doing extensive research I decided to go with ICDSoft.com for my office's website and have been very happy with them. The customer support is fantastic. The answers are helpful and timely -- they guarantee a response within 60 minutes but I have usually received an email response within 10-15 minutes of submitting it via their customer support web-based form. The web-based control panel is fairly basic but easy to use. Although if you need to transfer lots and lots of pages of your site you'll probably want to use an FTP client because there is no quick way to upload multiple pages via the web interface. All in all, a great service and I've never experienced any downtime in 18 months. (at least none that I was aware of or anyone else noticed)
I have been very satisfied with this host thus far. I have 3 domains with them and have experienced a total of about 5 minutes of downtime in over 2 years. I have had 2 customer service issues that were resolved in a matter of minutes.
They choose which of their server-farms your site will be hosted on, and my main site had experienced long response delays, so they I requested that they move it to a different server-farm. They did this transparently to me in a matter of hours and kept me in the loop the whole time.
They respond quickly to concerns, and provide a top notch bargain price host. Great control panel interface, and many options. Highly recommended.
I love icdsoft! Their user interface is slick and coherent. Their customer support is top notch!! If only they had multiple-domain hosting, I would have all my sites there. This is a company that "gets" it. Customers do come first and they know it!!
Great customer and technical support. All my questions have been questioned knowledgeabily within an hour - often within a few minutes. The control panel is easy to use. My only little gripe is that the website sometimes seem a bit slow - though that could be due to my own connection. Every time I have tested the website with a webserver tool on my site (e.g. http://www.websiteoptimization.com/services/analyze/), the performance has been up to par.
This host is absolutely wonderful. I have had clients with all sorts of hosting companies, most of whom are severely lacking in their tech support area and in the services they offer.
I would never use another provider, if it weren't for the fact that one of my clients has a site done in asp and icdsoft doesn't support it.
Their support is better than words- they will help you with 3rd party software, and any other problems you are having with your own code. That's right- when other companies flat out say no, or don't know the answer, icdsoft does. They're fantastic!!!

I came from a dog of a host (aaa-webhost), and it was such a relief to find these guys. I have been here for 6 months, and uptime has been 99.94%. All my questions have been answered within 10 minutes of submission. Server is fast, uploading files is fast, price is low. Highly recommended.
