This host has been a nightmare for me.
At first it was great, but about 6 months into my hosting problems started appearing. First it was slow loading pages, then their support staff took forever to answer tickets (2 to 3 weeks for a single response). I got tired of them and moved to another host, but there was 3 months left in my pre-paid year of hosting and according to their website, they have a money back guarantee. To test this "promise" i contacted one of their sales agents via email pretending to me a new potential customer. The sales agent responded that in my example (which was exactly what i was going through at the time), i would be eligible for a refund of the remaining 3 months left that i paid for. I sent this information along to the support person who was slowly answering my ticket. They never sent the money (which was around $56.00). I sent a complaint to the Better Business Bureau of British Columbia (where Webserve offices are located) and the host still didnt send the money. In fact out of all the correspondence in the complaint, Webserve only responded twice and they ignored all questions the mediator had. Over 2 years have gone by and i still have not received my refund.
Recently though something new happened. I have 3 domains hosted with them. I emailed them over 2 weeks ago to send me the auth-codes so that i can transfer the domains to another registrar. They haven't responded. Yet again.
THESE PEOPLE ARE THIEVES, STAY AWAY FROM THEM. SURE THE SERVICE IS CHEAP, BUT THEY WILL ROB YOU BLIND. THEY SHOULD BE IN JAIL.
P.S. I moved to LunarPages which has much better service. Good luck trying to cancel your account if you move to another host. |

Hi there. I wana comment on webserve. I dont know how I got here but after reading other commnets I felt to give my opinion to the visitors. I dont know much about the website and hosting. But webserve has the control panel, whihc is very useful and easy to manage. I have been told from my frined that, having a website a complicated work. But I find it very easy and simle. On the 10th of April 2008 was the second anniversary of my sites being hosted by webserve canada. I never had a big trouble. Reasonable charges and good support.

Well, let us say you would never be able to get hold of anyone in this company, a total joke.
The only reason i give them one out of five is because there is no negative available. truly sucks. Bottom line is it doesnt matter how good your solution is, if you cant provide service, you are just not that good. the problem I have right now may be solved at a later time, but will definitely switch.
Btw, I am in proirity sequence while writing this. What a lousy experience. |

Excellent web host, uptime 100%, good support team, fast servers, easy cPanel, price is just right and better than other companies. Needless to say I have had to contact them on a several occasions and I have never been kept waiting. I'm thinking of switching to their dedicated servers now. :D

Webserve truly delivers what they promise. I am paid member of hyperspin and I was happy to read my sites uptime report. It was 99.951% last 3 months average. They are good host with good track record.

Be careful with these guys, their support personnel are completely inexperienced and they don't follow their own policies.
I had my domains set for manual-renewal and it was clearly indicated on my profile. Yet they went ahead and renewed my domains without even asking or warning me!!
When I requested a reversal, they refused even though I provided them proof that my domains were marked for manual renewal.
Their support is hard to reach and are very rude!!

I started web hosting for my business with webserve.ca mainly because it was very reasonably priced. Within a month, I found that clients would call me back saying emails to me were bouncing ot me. I would then find out that web site has down for hours. I would then go to webserve.ca and even there own site is down. So now I would call webserve.ca customer support to report an outage but CS rep. would direct me to website to open a support ticket. The Customer Representative was rude and actually started shouting at me when I asked to speak to a manager. The TERMS OF SERVICE has a clause in which they can charge peoples Credit Cards automatically for RENEWAL OF SERVICE. In my case, they charged my CREDIT CARD anyway thinking I may not even notice the charge. I had to dispute the charge and provide PROOF OF CANCELATION that I had sent webserve via their website. I declare webserve.ca as a fraud and scam, please go to other web hosting places, don;t waste your time and money with this place. |

LOL, has anyone read the 5/5 reviews? this company cannot be serious! I firmly believe they are just out to make a quick buck from newbies or something? - being a newbie myself, I thought I would go Canadian for my hosting - webserve was on some top canadian webhost site (Yeah Right) - I used Paypal - NOT my credit card to pay for 1 month as a test, it took them 2 days to setup my account, it took me two hours to figure out something was horribly wrong with this company ;) 20 - 60 second pageload times for the control panel? I quickly requested my money back the next day, (summed it up to them as an issue with me on the east coast, them on the west for the slowness) - they refunded me within days (i'll give them that, but thats it :)) I have since realized hosting in Canada is just NOT an option, I will gladly spend my money south of the border for good reliable hosting, - Pay the extra 3 or 4 bucks and get yourself something thats actually going to work, work well, and provide good support - don't fall for this company, and certainly do not provide your credit card to them, or purchase anything beyond a month (if you feel obligated to give them a try lol)

Very poor customer service. Their support techs are not very knowledgeable. When asked about poor page load times within the domain management pages, they said, "it is normal for the page to take 20 - 50 seconds to load since its hosted on a shared server". Some support requests have gone unanswered for a year (still no response). Webmail doesn't allow users to change their own passwords. Service is often down with no explanation.
Many of the reviews on this page are from the same people. Search for IP 66.199.162.12 to see what I mean. Perhaps they're trying to up their own ratings. |

The worst host we have ever used. I encourage you to go anywhere but here. Our site crashes once a day and Live Support never works. We've called their office and the automated system hung up on us. DO NOT USE WEBSERVE! |
