Ok wow, where do i start? At first i chose t3link.com because of it's cheap cheap pricing, then one day they just dropped off the face of the earth, changed into WebHostingETC.net, then they dropped off the face of the earth, luckily hostw3.com picked up the tab but how can a company still host and obviously not charge my credit card anymore (because it's since changed, heh heh) but not be there? i have this image of all the servers sitting in a warehouse out in the dessert with noone there to run them, hahaha, wtf? WHERE'D YOU GO T3LINK/Webhostingetc??? |

Webhostingetc.com...
t3link.com...
jdlinkllc.com...
Whatever name this company chooses to masquerade under, it has been an ABSOLUTE DISASTER to work with.
As I type this, my client's site is down, I have no access to the email administration site, and all calls and emails to the company for the past TWO WEEKS have gone unanswered. Our database? Who knows. We are in a total crisis. No one at the company is answering their phones; all voice mailboxes are full. I've spent the day firing emails and phone calls all over the place and now my people are frantically researching new hosting companies to find an affordable ColdFusion host so we can rescue our site before we lose a client.
Does this sound like an experience you wish to experience yourself? Then, by all means, go directly to jdlinkllc.com and sign up!
As for me, I've located the home phone number of one of the managers of the company and plan on making a few calls. I used to have the cell number of the support guy, but I foolishly lost it (arrrrrgh!). If anyone has any information on contacting these people (I already have their office phone, it doesn't work, so no need posting it) please reply to this with your own contact email so I can reach you. |

I too am having the same issues. I did ping my site since the DNS server wouldn't resolve the name anylonger, was able to download my stuff and switched in a matter of 6 hours to another company. I have sent two cancellation notices and requested refunds which I will not get. But at least the legal end is on my side.
I had to have tucows unlock my domain registration since it had been locked against transfer. Tucows knows all about this company and is unlocking for most who request so that you can transfer the domain name.
I best not get charged again for the services or legalities will be had.
Can you say class action suit? |

We are experiencing the same critical problems that others are writing about. Our website is not performing, and no one answers phones or responds to messages from Webhosting Etc, T3 Link, or whatever it is called now.
It seems that our website, which, like most companies, is a critical part of our business, has been abandoned, and it is hurting us. Can anyone suggest how we can take back our site and move along with our business? Please email with suggestions - eselvik@yahoo.com. Thanks for your help! |

I think this company, whatever they are called now, went out of business or ran off with everyone's money. I suspect none of this is a technical problem, because THEIR website is up and running and it takes 5 minutes to create and upload an HTML page to tell everyone there is a problem and what it is.
I have a site hosted with T3Link/Webhostingetc/JDLinkLLC for over 3 years.
For the past week, my site is gone. Email gone. SQL gone. I can't even log in to my admin control panel. My site is an ecommerce site so if I can't process my orders, I lose customers because they think we went out of business, gain chargebacks, and I lose a ton of money. I have kids to feed so I cannot go a whole week with my site going down.
I called all the numbers on their website every day this week at least once per hour and all I get is "Mailbox Full." No one responds to email. Their fax machine is obviously off the hook because their fax number only returns a busy signal.
My next steps are to contact my lawyer. I believe we all got scammed. |

What happened to J D Link, LLC? What happened to Webhosting? In the past several days, they seem to have completely disappered?
We had multiple sites with T3 link and they kept providing less and less support. Then in March 2005 we got an e-mail saying they were merging with J D Link, LLC. We were told they would send us instructions on how to get to our website. Well, everything seems to have disappered. |

I’ve got to come to the defense of Webhostingetc.com / 3TLink and/or their successors.
My websites and that which my joint interest partner has entrusted me with have all been hosted by Webhostingetc.com for the past 2 years. Sure, there have been a couple of times when one of my sights went down but the folks at Webhostingetc.com fixed things up promptly after I notified them. I can remember one time that I notified them around 10 PM and they had things fixed-up about 30 minutes after I called them.
It seems that I forgot to renew my domain and pay my annual hosting fees and for about a week, my website wasn’t up. My website is not just used for promotional reasons but also serves as a platform where I can share information with my clients. I spoke with the folks at Webhostingetc.com over the phone, apologized for not paying them to continue to host my domain, paid those fees, and they had my website back up and running in no less than 2 hours.
As far as anyone that has had less than a stellar experience with this host provider, I would like to offer the advice that employing patience and understanding and communicating in such a manner have been the best ways for me to see problems solved. As a person that runs his own business, I’ve had my ups and downs, too. It’s not easy to get everything right all the time, every time. Thank goodness some of my clients have experienced the same thing running their businesses or I’d be out of business for sure.
Apparently, Webhostingetc.com has been acquired by another entity. I wish the best for the folks – like anyone that makes an investment in a business, I’m sure they’re going to give it their best shot and as a very satisfied customer, I’m behind them all the way.
I highly recommend Webhostingetc.com as a website host.

I have been a customer of T3link.com, Webhostingetc.com and now JD Link LLC, for over 3 years. I was told about them through a mutual source. I have paid them in excess of $2000 in the last year and have had more problems with them then successes. They have some good people working there (technically speaking) and have at time in the past had support which was above and beyond anything that would be expected from any hosting company.
HOWEVER...
I have also had nightmare issues which are also happening now with the new hosting company JD Link LLC.
My site is still not up along with a few other companies I know of totalling about 96 + websites.
They have taken the money for the last company and I know that they were in the middle of a lawsuit for copyright infringment. I believe this is why they are currently sold and rebought by another name but same people.
I have asked for the contents of my website and ftp access to my shared server four times, and each time they closed the support ticket and never once replied.
I will be giving them one more 48 hours option , and then making sure that nobody else gets screwed like i have been. Also I would ask anyone that has been charged for services like I have and not received these services to leave info here and I will start a class action against t3link, webhostingetc and JD LinkLLC, we need answers and fast.
James Murphee please email me directly at the contact info you have here or pick up the telephone . This is serious....

I never had a single memorable problem with this service in three years until a couple of weeks ago when my site went down. I thought it was strange that they took my domain registration fee a month early, then a couple of weeks later ... poof ... gone. A few days after that I got an e-mail from J D Link LLC announcing their purchase of the service. I replied with a notice of non-compliance with my hosting agreement and have received no reply in a week. Need to investigate further, but I haven't found a customer service site or link anywhere yet. |

I use to work for this company and that is the only reason my site is still hosted by them, it was free and they haven't turned it off yet. T3 Link was not bought out by Webhosting etc, the name was just changed. The owners remained the same. Now they have changed the entity name once again to JD LINK LLC. I have notice that people have posted that the main trouble with the company started in or around October 2004 and that would be about the time that the same entity started having problems with their multi-level marketing scheme Push Button Promotions. They put more effort into the get rich quick scheme than they did into their hosting. It use to be a good company to use and work for until the MLM schemes started. If the owner would put his efforts back into the hosting and give the support and service that they use to, it would be a great company to use. It seems like they are changing names again to try and get business back without anyone knowing who they are. Hopefully this time they will do things the right way and provide the service that they promise. |

We are a customer of webhostingetc.net. The service has been horrible. We have been offline many times in the last 30 days. Slow response by phone, promises not kept. We have been down 24 hours and counting - this just after an advertising campaign to drive people to our web site. Unreliable - STAY AWAY! |

This is an inexpensive hosting company which I chose for Sharepoint Portal hosting. The trouble ticket system doesn't work, they don't respond to email and the support staff doesn't follow through. The pricing is great, but sometime we get what we pay for. They have great hosting packages, but the service and performance is horrible. We have had tons of slow access and portal accessibility problems. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY FOR A SHAREPOINT PORTAL. |

They have been terrible in the last 6 months, with frequent outages and poor customer support. Note that this host was also under the name T3Link.com previously. About when they were bought is when the problems began. |
