I suppose the old adage "one gets what one pays for" rings true after all.
The best thing I can say about Rus and VPScolo is that they do generally respond promptly to concerns or issues.
That says nothing at all about the quality of the responses, or the frequency with which trouble arises in the first place.
My experience with them has been practically a comedy of errors since day one. I should have gotten the hint when the could not even process my initial order correctly.
Uptime has been pretty good, but way too many of the functions and features they provide are broken in their default configurations and require hours of work to diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix. Sadly, the technical support staff have not been timesavers at all. I've needed to repeat myself several times. The trouble ticketing system was a disaster, and as of this writing, the have been "transitioning" to a new system, but neither system---old or new---has been available for days now.
Am too tired to continue whining for now. If----and that is a big if----all of the bells and whistles and add ons that VPSCOLO includes in its packages actually worked reliably, then I might recommend them.
Can't do that given my observations in 3 months with them.

I have been with VPSOLO a few months now and to be honest there isn't a single
bad word I can write about them. About the service, both uptime and performance has been excellent. Support, Rus has alot of patience and takes care of it's customers. The most
important thing to note here is that you are not a number he takes the time to take you through
all steps and explains them as well. Pricing is very competitive and services / packages
are added regularly. In fact since i've been with them they have added a free backup location.
They give you an extra shells located somewhere else for debugging purposes. Overall highly recommended. |
