I have been hosting with Precision Effect for roughly 10 months now. Their service has been excellent and outstanding, and I have yet to have a bad experience with their support. My website is always available and I've never had an issue with the loading time.

I've been with PE for nearly a year now and I've never been disappointed with the service. Setup was instant, support team is very friendly, and the speed is consistent.
That last point is the biggest reason I stay with PE. They are one of the only providers on the Internet that doesn't oversell, and speeds are always fast and consistent. |

PrecisionEffect is the best hosting company I've been with. I run my own online radio station, and I've been a loyal customer of PrecisionEffect since September 2005, when I started my station.
Everything has gone incredibly smooth, I've had no major problems in my 1 and a half years with PE. As with any company, minor things come up, but PE has always provided me with quick and precise support.
I've been with several hosting companies in the past, and none of them even come close to the level of support I've gotten from PE. The only times I experience downtimes are when they're upgrading their servers, and this only occurs VERY late at night, so my traffic is not effected by it. They're professionalism is apparent in everything they do, they definitely know what they're doing.
I recommend PrecisionEffect to anyone who needs extremely reliable hosting, accompanied with unparalleled support. |

My Plan
Platinum: $12.00 / Month for 1 GB Space / 25 GB Bandwidth.
Usage
Now, my website that I host with PE is my friend's bands website. They do not receive 100,000 hits per month, but I do generally make my way towards at least 1 GB of bandwidth usage per month, while I am currently sitting at almost 60 MB worth of Space usage. I like to know that I am able to fluxuate and host side-websites with ease.
Support
Since my last review, I have not needed to submit any tickets for help. I have not received any complaints from other people about the website having problems and thus, have had a smooth ride since my beginning. Incase you may not have seen my first thread, the only real problem I had was finding out how to navigate myself around the new panel as PE is my first Plesk webhost. In the end, it was simple and easy and they were great with tutorials and things to help me along the way.
Uptime
You can see right here, that their uptime has yet to drop past 98% which I believe is a great reason to consider Precision Effect for your webhosting needs, as it shows that they are able to withstand usage without seeing much, if any, downtime. I'm impressed thusfar and hope the trend continues for many more months.
Speed
Uploading and downloading files to edit are about as fast as blinking 3 times real fast, depending on the filesize. I have no complaints about their hosting speed and website wise, downloads are a rarity atm but the odd file has come pretty fast. Very good for me so far in this category.
Other
They are good with notifying customers a day or more if they plan to do some maintenance work, which I have noticed, has been a rarity. Nonetheless, they have been a great company thus far and I can only see many more months with them.
Conclusion
I would recommend no other Plesk webhost to you, than Precision Effect. You will not be let down, should you choose to go with PE , top notch company |

It has been a few months now, and PE has been nothing short of a perfect fit for me. They go above and beyond when it comes to support. None of my questions have gone unanswered, and all in a timely manner. I have two sites with them currently, and am about to order a shoutcast server. I have used numberous hosts over the years, and for the price, you just simply cannot beat the quality and support, period. |

There are many people that would say, "Hosts are hosts." And for the most part, they'd be right. But when I was introduced to PrecisionEffect to host my website, I was blown away. 1. Initial Account and Setup Speed.
My account was created in lightning fast speed; nearly instantly. The entire process (from signing up on their Precision Panel, to physical hosting being setup) took at the maximum, ten minutes; truly impressive.
2. Server Speed.
I am amazed as to how fast these servers are. Precision Effect really has a way with their network. The average response time was around 0.045. This also comes in handy when you're browsing the Precision Effect website. There is absolutely no delay between clicking and browsing. Another key worth mentioning is the fact that their server is in Chicago, Illinois. It's a great location for any web hosting company… central to any state(s).
3. Support.
I'm online every day (or as much as possible) and when I have questions, I want them answered immediately. Not only does Precision Effect offer support via e-mail, but they also offer it via AOL Instant Messenger. Using AIM is a great advantage, because you get to talk to the representative in real time. I've found that being able to chat with an employee helps incase you find any other question you may have without the hassle of multiple e-mails. They answered my question quickly and to the point.
4. Control Panel and Uptime/Site Statistics.
Before switching to Precision Effect, the other hosting companies that I've been with have used CPanel. However, Precision Effect uses Plesk. At first I was intimidated, because I've never used any other control panel other than CPanel, but as I've said before, their support is phenomenal. I felt right at ease with the, in my case, "foreign" control panel. As a matter of fact, I'm glad I did indeed get the chance to use Plesk. I've found it to be much easier to follow and navigate, and let's face it; the interface looks a lot better! Another beneficial item to their website is the fact that their uptime statistics are visible to the public. Not many companies allow visitors to see their uptime, so I found that a great asset to their already superb site.
5. Upgrading Account.
My primary focus is on web development and coding, so of course, I would need more space when I had more clients. Upgrading my account space and bandwidth was a breeze. This also goes back to their support; simply send an e-mail, or message them on AIM. I've upgraded my account numerous times and still, Precision Effect always follows through with their support.
6. Overall Experience.
I can't say enough about Precision Effect. The other three companies I've been with were great, but Precision Effect takes the cake. Not only were their prices unbeatable, the support is outstanding, and the overall service… undeniably the finest web hosting company I've been with. Truthfully, I will never go to another hosting company again.

Precision Effect is an amazing web-hosting company. They recently just upgraded to a better server hosting box and i get almost triple the speeds i used to.
