I would not recommend Pinch Penny to ANYONE who is looking for a webhosting company. Reguardless of pricing, Pinch Penny was a lousy company. From the very beginning when I sent my money in Cathy was unresponsive and seemed indifferent to my needs and my business. I know Pinch Penny is no longer in business, but I am still very angry with the service. I never received my space, my domain, or a refund. Cathy or Dominic still have my money. If the previous customers were smart they would file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. |

I would recommend this hosting company ONLY if you're very short on funding and not worried about down time or server crashes. In my year at PP, their main "Guru" server crashed some seven times, the last time wiping the server cleanof all data. No worthy compensation was offered, and many customers left.
Customer Support was much better when Cath was the main admin before Dominique took over. He just ended up making a mess of things. |

My experience with PinchPenny WebHosting Services was nothing but wonderful. The rates were affordable, and the service was always available and helpful. The new management was very effective. Although the owners were working the hosting company as a hobby, they were always professional and personable. I hope they are happy, and have taken their gained knowledge and experience onto bigger and better things! Way to go PinchPenny! |

At first I love PP, then there was alot of down time due too server problems. Now I am having problems...and no one will reply too my numerous emails. My site has been down now for nearly 2 weeks without explaination.

I am SOOO fed up with PP.org. It's HORRIBLE. I got my site in July I think, or June. My site was down after about the 2nd week for a few hours, then I had a few down periods in the next two months, then in September I had a downtime of almost 3 weeks. Supposedly they were changing my server and another one to new ones they had just bought. It took an extremely long time. After that time I was going to transfer to a new host, but I decided to see what happened, because PP WAS very cheap, and the services we got were better than where I was going, so I decided to wait a little while. My site's been up since then, with about 2 short (as in 10 minutes) down periods. Everything was fine until today when I went to go check my webmail. I couldn't get to the cpanel. NOTHING is working except my actual site and it's making me more than a little angry. There is no support availible, forums are offline, live help is NOT live, and the help desk has not answered my ticket from when I first got my account. I say DO NOT use Pinch Penny. It's very suspicious. Find another host before you lose everything. |

I have only gotten hosting from them for three days, and I was hit with problem after problem.
(taken from the complaint letter that I sent last night)
1) My subdomains have not worked since I transferred over to Pinch Penny, far longer then what DNS propagation can be held accountable for. I'm in roughly the 60th hour of waiting, and they still do not work.
2) I submitted a help desk ticket approximately 36 hours after transferring the domain over. I have yet to receive a reply.
3) I e-mailed the support address at hour 48. Again, no reply.
4) My domain has been down approximately 20 hours altogether, of the 60. It goes down very frequently and for extended periods of time (often half an hour to an hour for each downtime period). It was down from about one in the morning until at least noon today, eleven hours altogether.
5) Pinchpenny.org itself has been down a lot, which is very disturbing to say the least.
6) The Lpanel claims I have an outstanding bill of $40, which I paid for. I addressed this in both the ticket and the e-mail.
I did not get a reply until the morning, and by then I was so fed up that I asked for a refund. Ironically, my refund ticket has also not been replied to yet... |

I have been with PinchPenny since the start. I loved Cathy, loved the service, and I still love it to this day. Of course like every good thing, they have a problem every once and a while, but Dominick is always on the job to fix it. I would recommend Pinch Penny to anyone! |

I have had hosting through Pinch Penny for almost a year now and they have been extremely unrealiable. Also, the customer support is not good at all. My site has been down several times since I purchased hosting through them. |

Since I signed up in June, I have had nothing but problems. There is literally more downtime than uptime. They are down at this very moment, and have been for at least three days. The price may be low, but it is SO not worth it. |

The prices are great when compared to most of the other web hosting providers in the market, but it's really not worth it since it's always down. At least once every two weeks my site goes down for more than a day leaving my hostees and myself without our spaces on the internet. The new support, however, is really fast and respectful to all questions and comments... but that doesnt really matter if your domain is down all the time. |

I have been with PinchPenny pretty much since they started. They started out amazing. Along the road they had a few fumbles and most people thought all was lost. Now they are under a new owner who is absolutely amazing. He answers support within minutes most times and fulfills all of our orders within 2-6 hours! PinchPenny is definitely the way to go. They have really pulled through. Their uptime is phonomenal (sp), their support is phonomenal (sp), and overall, they are phonomenal! (sp again :) ) YOU ROCK PINCHPENNY! |

My site has been hosted by PP (PinchPenny) for eight months and I have to say that they offer GREAT services. I understand the negative comments made below might be the "previous" version of PP, but hey, they really twitched their hosting service into one of the best hosting services out there! $8 for a domain and $10 for hosting (both yearly fee), and fast server and reliable support! Their server was not down once and they have a great support forum which all questions are answered in a day. I highly recommend PinchPenny to those who are looking for a cheap and reliable host. By the way, they are some fellow that you can trust. Never feel unsure to give them your personal address or contact info as they do not use them commercially. |

Pinch Penny is the worst Web Hosting ever. The support is ok, but the servers are always down, or most of the time. Its always down at least once every 3 days.
Bad web hosting. The pricing is an ok deal, but, it really isnt worth it. If they could fix the downtime, it would be great. |
