Well, what can I say, but there is just something illegal going on with this host now.
After severe problems last year, like many others, I swapped host, requesting (when the support pages were working) that all accounts were cancelled.
I have now been billed/charged, a year later, for a service I've not used in a long time. Obviously, this is not on. Trying to contact ETGS to sort it out and their mailbox is full so any queries get bounced. Their forum has been broken for the last 24 months, and you cannot actually log in to their billing management section due to an error.
I have only just managed to log in to worldpay to cancel the account ETGS didn't cancel. This obviously doesn't give me the money back they've just taken, so will no doubt have to dispute it with my bank!
Don't touch, not even with a bargepole. |

I wish to echo the comments left by the last few reviewers.
I was recommended ETGS over 18 months ago and their service was just what I needed for my personal website/gallery/forum. (Low use, not business critical.) The pricing was very low so I signed up in a flash.
The service was great until just before Christmas 2006, then it went from bad to worse. I can't remember my site working for more than a few hours in the last 3 months.
I don't like to knock people when they're down, but if the company/one-man-show is having problems which will be fixed soon, then let your customers know! I'd happily sit out the storm, but there has been no word and no way to contact them.
I have now signed up with a new host, albeit at 5 times the price. But I'm more confident they'll work. If my site was business critical I'd have jumped ship a lot sooner.
As things stand, I can't recommend them. Sorry ETGS. |

I am having the exact same problems that kellie mentions in her review. I have spoken to the host on MSN, but when I asked what was going on, he just said "I'm working on it" then set himself to away and didn't respond to any further questions.
When I first signed up with ETGlobalSolution they were OK, but in the last 6 months I've had nothing but problems. Since Christmas, my site has been up less than 50% of the time and has now been off for 2 days solid. The host does not reply to emails or answer the phone. I run a forum, so as soon as I can access the databases and back them up, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. If I could select 0 out of 5 for support and reliability, I would. |

I've been with this host around three years, all seemed well and in December I renewed. At the beginning of Jan 2007 my site went down for several days, no-one answered the telephone at the customer support, the ticket system doesn't work, the forums do not work, and despite telephoning and emailing his personl email at least 50 times I have yet to get a reply. My site has been going down every day for several hours at a time since. When my site is down so is theres, so no chance of putting a support ticket in even if you could get it to work. there is no actual email address, and the telephone only goes to an answer machine - no-one ever answers or gets back to you. There is ZERO support. I make my living from the net, i will have to move to someone reliable else this will kill my business. This hosting is cheap but far from cheerful. If you only want a personal website and it doesn't matter if it has around 60% downtime then thats fine, but if you need a reliable host this sure isn't it. |

" when i joined etglobalsoution the service was ok but the tech support/boss/one man operation was lacking but the price was right. Over the 1st 6 months there were a few outages but nothing major. In the last 3 months the service has been disgusting as their so called 24 hour support consists of a number that has been changed to an answering machine that is never checked.
currently Snmp has been unavailable since Dec 27th so all email is down. Today is the 8th of Jan and it is still down with no contact from said 24 hour support answering machine.
I have now moved my site to another provider.
Personally i think that the tech support/boss/general one man operation is on holiday for 2 weeks. " |

Very cheap hosting, with everything you need. Normally great support and very fast. BUT, a lot of downtime!! Sometimes a week...
Not reliable for email because every mail somebody send to you in a downtime will never be delivered.
I'm going to change as soon as i have the time to do the transfer (or as soon as my website is back online so i can move the content...) |

Excellent host. Been with them twice over about 2 years. Very cheap, but very reliable and fast for uk people. Good spec servers too! |
