Blurstorm has been providing a hosting reseller account for over 3 years, worked quite well but now the server has disappeared over 6 days ago and all my customers websites are still off the air. I have submitted several support tickets, tried all the email addresses I have for Blurstorm and am stuck. Their website is still live but no one will even respond to say what the problem is.
Can anyone tell me how to contact Blurstorm or why they won't even reply?
I've tried 5 different web hosts to date and the reason I chose and have continued to stay with Blurstorm is their customer service. Boasting about uptime and reliability is great (Blurstorm has been outstanding on this front by the way), but what really matters is how a host responds to issues when they arise. The first time I ran into a problem, I was expecting that the "urgent" issue I had raised would probably take a few days to make the slow climb from level one support all the way up to someone who could actually fix it (this was the experience I had come to expect from my previous hosts), but that was simply not the case. Within minutes I had a response from one of their support technicians who had resolved the issue, no irrelevant/asinine requests for more data, no responses telling me things had been escalated, just a solution. They definitely know how to set the bar high, and I'm happy to say, they've been excellent at maintaining it!
I just had to write and say how happy I am to have signed up with Blurstom. They moved my website in one day and Eli actually called me on the phone to help me with any questions I had regarding their service. Having had a nightmare experience with EarthLink where I was without service for 3 weeks and having their out of country support unable to help, it was a breath of fresh air to have a Company that actually has support based in the US, and from my experience the best I have had in a long time. I only could put 5 out of 5, but if I could I would give them a 10 out of 10. I recommend them highly!
After months and months of frustration and near nervous breakdown with ResellerZoom, along come Blurstorm to save the day. Ok, so it's been less than a month but the improvement to my sites speed and reliability has improved completely. No more constant 500 errors, database failures, slow response times etc.. NO MORE I TELL YOU!!!
Thanks to Blurstorm, my sites are now running as they should. The level of support is outstanding. I'm so happy now, at last I can get on with my day to day work and stop worrying about whether my sites are working!
Blurstorm rescued me from the pit of Internet Hosting Hell. I was with IPowerWeb and they tried to migrate my site to their new platform, and that's when my entry into hell officially took place. The migration didn't work and cut off all my email. I had to wait over one hour each time I called technical support and each time I called, they promised me that they would solve the problem, but each time it got worse and worse. Finally, my whole website went down and when I called to find out what was going on, come to find out they had a different account holder on record for my account!! They had given my account to someone else! I was furious! Enter Eli at Blurstorm. He figured out what my situation was and showed my how to transfer my domain over to Blurstorm without even talking to IPowerWeb!! WITHIN 24 HOURS MY DOMAIN WAS ACTIVE ON BLURSTORM!!! I was seriously panicked that IPowerWeb when IPower had given my account to someone else--I couldn't even access my own account any more!! If it hadn't been for Eli at Bluestorm, I really don't know what I would have done. I'm so grateful to the people at Bluestorm for providing REAL customer service--something that the big companies promise to do but don't. Don't be fooled by companies that offer cheap hosting--It's not worth it! When there are problems, you want a company that knows what it's doing and has it's act together. Blurstorm is that company.
By far and away, the best SUPPORT I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED. This is one of the few time were the statement "if you don't use these people, your crazy" actually applies. They CARE!!! They know what a TELEPHONE IS - EUREKA!!! They know how to dial it, and the call YOU to help out. This truly Rolls Royce service!
They'll help you get started and make sure your website is up, running, and cranking away.
They even post their server statistics - not the flashiest web intro., but to somebody who KNOWS the web, this is incredible openness about their services.
Blurstorm.com Please don't rate them based on their website. These guys have it together. Read all the reviews about them. They are about support and service. I have been in this business for over nine years and blurstorm.com is by far the best. They beat all he compatition.

Hi all, I thought I would add my 2pence about blurstorm. I have been with hosts from the early 90’s. I have used almost every hosting service that was or still is considered “mainstream”.. nothing... I mean NO ONE even comes close to this webhost. If you are considering having your site hosted, or looking for a new host. Then by all means email them and see for yourself how the personal touch still exists. In this day of automated this that and the other, blurstorm continues to impress me beyond all belief.
If you want a web-host where an actual human being returns your e-mails, then BlurStorm is definitely for you. I usually get a reply within an hour, and they're always polite and friendly. Good communication and customer service is key to a great web-host, and BlurStorm has these qualities in spades.

Blurstorm is excellent. On the very rare occasion that I've had a problem, they are quick to respond, and do all they can to help resolve any issue. In one instance, they even helped resolve a problem one of my website visitors was having while trying to view the site, and it wasn't even a Blurstorm problem.
Having been with two other hosting services before Blurtorm, I can honestly say they are by far the best!
The blurstorm staff are personable, patient, and very attentive. They solved a problem promptly and with ease, and were informative along the way. Other computer hosts that I asked for information ignored the requests or gave me a run-around. When I joined the Blurstorm community the support I received in order to launch my website was prompt, thorough and personal.
In the months that followed the support team has always answered my questions with thorough technical knowledge, making sure that even a small business customer could handle the technical advice.
I have been very pleased with Blurstorm...competitive prices and great service. If I have a problem or question, they respond every time. There is usually a wait of a few hours. Sometimes you can get them on their chat but I live in europe so that doesn't happen much.
They treat me personally and have called me on a few ocassions as well. They certainly give me the impression that they not only want my business but want me to be satisfied and are willing to invest in building a relationship with their customers. I feel I know them personally.

I've been designing websites since 1997 and have experience with all kinds of web hosts. In those ten years, I don't think I've ever come across a host as great as Blurstorm! Support is helpful and very fast to respond, server performance is easily the best I've experienced, and the range of features for the money is nothing short of excellent. Did I mention that my account was set up in literally a matter of minutes?
Perhaps most importantly, the company seems to really care about your business, is always friendly and easy to communicate with. This counts for a lot, because you know that even if you wind up having a problem with something, they'll do their best to help resolve it. I had a small issue connecting to an alternate port for SMTP communications, and it was resolved promptly by the support staff.
this is my first time to submit such hosting review, usually i will just it and feel the good hosting service is must as what i pay for , but since i have a terrible experience with my previous web hosting company (webserve.ca) and i learned that find a good hosting is not easy, not even say with a good price !
Honestly, the first impersion of Blurstorm, is not really good, due to their website seems not too professiona. but then i trust the ranking position of Webhostingjury.com ( becuase blurstorm are so far number 1 here, but before i though Blurstorm pay them to put them in the 1st position lol) but once i join and use their reseller plan , i feel amazing of their support service , they got Excellent !! repose time and friendly answer, actually the NICE support is not just answer you what YOU should do to solve the problem u submit to them, they are actually reply your problem submission and said " The Problem Has Been Fixed". they are really right to the point to fix your problem but not just answer questions. I have been hosted on Blurstorm's servers for over a year now. I am currently updating my website, but I have always received fast and courteous responses from Eli at Blurstorm when needed. His servers are fast, staff are friendly, and I really love the control panel software they use.
I have used them for several months, and they have a very responsive staff. I experience some slowness or downtimes every so often, but they manage to resolve them within a reasonable time frame if we contact them. Overall they are a big improvement from my last host, and I hope they continue with their good service.
If I were to describe this company with only one word, I would say “Topnotch”. Personally, I hate the feeling when with any tech support you send them an email and you wonder when or if they are going to reply. With blurstorm, I do not have to worry or even think about it. I send an email; do whatever else I need to do and within the hour, max 2 hours, they respond back. At first, I thought this might be a fluke, but no, since the beginning, every question and reply I’ve sent them, I received a reply back again within the hour.
Customer Service has always been important to me and with high-quality service, they provide you would think they would charge more but nope, I have not checked with all the hosting company with the few 20 companies that I did, Blurstorm had the best prices.

At last I have found a host that actually listens to what you are saying. There is far too much reliance on automated responses with some hosts but with Blurstorm you get that personal touch with email replies from Eli that are so fast it is almost unbelievable. I had just sent him a request for some help and decided to empty my inbox of all that I had read.I very nearly deleted his reply. lol
They look after their customers and you know that you are dealing with caring people. My experience with other hosts had been very slow responses from people that seemed not to know what they were doing - in fact at times making the situation we were in even worse.

Blurstorm is truly a top notch hosting provider. Eli "gets it" (unfortunately most people don't). His customer support is fast and knowledgeable. He really cares about keeping his customers happy, and goes out of his way to have the best security and monitoring systems in place. I left my last hosting provider after 5 years, because they had become complacent. Unannounced "upgrades" that caused outages became the norm. There was no escalation process in place for critical problems, etc. Since moving to blurstorm, everything is as it should be... in a word, "reliable". Those few times when there were system/hardware problems (something that could happen to anyone), he was fast to communicate and react. What else could one possibly ask for?
I've been with Blurstorm for almost two/three months now, and have had an awesome experience through and through. Support is extremely responsive, quick, and like everyone else here has said, very friendly. On top of that their servers are fast and, from what I can tell, are constantly being improved for even better performance. I don't think a hosting company can do a better job than Blurstorm. I had problems setting up multiple web address and they walked me through it on a Sunday NONETHELESS! Any questions or problems are quickly resolved. The staff talks to you not down at you. No matter what your level of knowledge they can talk to you so you understand them - and you get results.
My former web host charged me three and a half times more and I didn't get the help or the respect I expected. For the price and service offered by Blurstorm, it doesn't get any better than this!
My partner and I used Blurstorm for more than a month and have since moved away for my own good. They have had numerous downtime/reliability issues (look at their status reports, it even says the server was rebooted X days ago, meaning recently) which was quite hard to deal with my busy site. Customer service on the other hand is friendly, but the technical side doesn't seem to keep up with the rest. We also found it a bit annoying to be with a host that has several errors on their site ("cheif" instead of "chief" and php errors at www.blurstorm.com/support/) so decided to choose elsewhere.
Really can't say enough good things about this Webhost provider, and I found them right here by reading some of these reviews. I am a novice at creating websites and it was a rather daunting task wending my way through changing Webhosts seemlessly. My previous Host was so slow, and my site down all the time. I have a reseller account with Blurstorm. Their service is incredible. I haven't had many reseller accounts but I just can't see how any hosting company can be any better. I get responses and solutions quicker than I expect. Their servers are really fast. They never seem bothered that I'm asking questions and their price? Honestly. If you're a reseller, would you rather pay less for less service? As it is, they're price is one of the lowest. When you consider the level of service you get, then the price is a bargain.

Compared to the others, Blurstorm.com gives more bang for the buck (i.e. unlimited domains, etc.) in their different hosting packages. Other companies limit how many domains you can use and then give you 75-100 GB bandwith... and everyone know that with most domains you won't be able to use that much bandwidth. It's like a popular internet provider offering 2000 hours of free use in a month. Sounds impressive but is unrealistic.
Just as important Blurstorm.com has good customer service. They
are quick to resolve issues and patient when things are not easily
understood.

I've been with Burstorm for about 2 or 3 years now. Not only did they host my site but they have be beside me from start to finish. From the beginning of my relationship with Blurstorm we had our initial meeting to get started. They built they site from scratch with me only explaning what I do. As a non-profit organization, which by the way is the only one of it's kind in the Southeast that specialize in recording engineering, all they needed was an idea of what I did in order to get started. Normally I would think it would be a lot of phone tag and miscommunications because we are 300 miles away. But Blurstorm was and has been availible every time I need them. After building the site they continued to maintain the site and also keep me updated on what's going on with the company and with my own site. All of my upgrades and upkeep has been a wonderful experience.
What really make it a good company is that the tech support and the personal relationship developes each year. When speaking on the phone to a Blurstorm rep., it's a comfortable conversation.. kinda like talking to an old friend. If there is something you don't understand, it's not given to you in tech terms, it's in terms that anyone on the street and understand.

We were looking for a host that could handle it all. We wanted to have a professional site available but not be involved, except to update pictures. We were looking for someone we could depend on. We found exactly that in Blurstorm. Actually much more than that, we found creativity and professionalism. We own a pond building business and sometimes pretty pictures just don't do the trick. I have had a website since 1997. It the beginning I had a big name providor whose customer service was HORRIBLE and down time went unexplained. Then I found Blurstorm, the EXCELLENT providor I now use and HIGHLY reccommend to all my web designer friends. The tech support surpasses them ALL. I cannot rate this company high enough!
I am very pleased with Blurstorm. In dealing with a provider, I also have to keep in mind my customers, because I own a computer shop and I am often asked who I would recommend. Therefore, the company I use had better be good because I recommend them to my valuable customers. And I've never had a problem with nor heard any complaints about Blurstorm. May the Lord bless them everyday. Thus, if I'm ashamed to recommend a company to my customers, I won't deal with them. It's just that simple.
Great hosting provider. I switched to them from a previous host and they were able to handle all the transition easily, even going so far as to transfer all of our cpanel sites for us. Highly recommended.
Pricing and reliabilty are excellent. Support is decent, they have a ticketing system that they usually get to you by within 6 hours. I enjoy having BlurStorm as my provider, and have never had any real issues with them or my site.
Good hardware and bandwidth. The best in Blurstorm is support, always honest and pretty fast, usually answered within half an hour and solved within the day.
They have demonstrated great skills in server and crisis management.
I have accounts on two of their servers, light loads and fast connections, almost no downtimes and most important, no overselling.
Well to start off this has to be one of the best hosts out there.... why?
1) Pricing... First thing to grab anyones attention... Low prices and great specs drew me in.
2) Willing to work with customers... If you have special requests on something they do the best that they can to give you what you need..
3) Quality... what do i consider a quality webhost? One with fast ftp access (ie. uploading), quick responding servers that load my pages fast, and if once in a while i feel like putting a big file on a server and i want someone to download it, i dont want them waiting 4 days for it to download. I expect high download speeds (bandwidth). Where do you get the http://blurstorm.com
4. Customer service.. Prolly one of their best features.. You ever have a problem.. Make a ticket or simply logon your yahoo account and chat to one of the guys that are on.. They either try to fix it themselves or have a specialist do it for you asap....

I have to highly reccomend Blurstorm for their excellent customer service and the technical expertise. I really get the impression that both Eli and Robert really care about their customers and are always prepared to go that extra mile to ensure that hosting with them is a great experience
I have a reseller account with several other companies with medium to low quality customer experience in the past. I currently have my primary accounts hosted with blurstorm.com for almost a year now, never had a problem with the server/staff and are quite impressed with their excellent support not to mention a very fast server one or two of my clients complimented us about.
Time and time again, a hacker running loose hacking several specific themed forums. The &*(#@!# script kiddie attacked our forums several times for no reason and lastly somehow got inside our reseller account probably with my password and terminated several accounts.
Blurstom staffs responses (Eli, Steve and Robert) was very helpful during those days, responding and restored the damages very quickly from their seperate backups and constantly keeping me updated of the restoration progress before I ever get impatient. The professional focused efforts they dedicatedly put together into making sure their customers feel safe, secure and taken care of are something every webhosting customers would value highly and I would heartfully recommend them to anyone. A 5 five star host!
