i have been with bgf web for 3 years now and all has been very,no crashes,very fast and have had a great customer service until the last 4 days? im aproaching the end of my domain and web hosting renewell and have tried to communicate with them to renew my service with them ,but i just cant get any kind of satisfactory response.
its as if they are ignoring me.i have a simple website which has under 30 visits a month,low bandwith,low disk space and no e commerce.There support right now is very disappointing.
after being a client of theres for 3 years i expected much better.

When I saw the other review was all 5's I just had to post. If you visit their forums you will find that "Dori" is a member there who is most active in "Pre-Sales Questions". Once of their servers also happens to be named "Dori".
Anyway, I was with them for about two years and had 2 reseller accounts at one point. after about a year I opened a second account and that's when I started to have problems. Before that things were much like the other RS accounts I had with different ISPs.
To keep this short, the 2nd account had constant performance issues. Then they suspended my account because of spammers using my contact forms. I don't blame them for shutting down the abused scripts, BUT THEY NEVER TOLD ME and all my client sites where down, not once, but twice. They never gave me a chance to know what was going on and never apologized about it. These are reseller accounts, not just cheap hosting accounts.
Then they made server changes on three different occasions that caused email send from forms to never being delivered, again with no notice each and every GD time! After the 2nd time, I moved sites from the second server and closed the account. Then when it happend a 3rd time I had to go to another provider and move ALL the remaining sites.
So, as a reseller hosting provider, they are dirt cheap and you may not run into the problems I did, but for twice the money ($20) you can get a much better deal that will be more reliable. If you have small fry clients that don't pay much, then they won't get that upset if things get screwed up for a few days now and then.
To their credit, they have left me detailed message in their forums under "Testomonials". |
