I'll give you MY Site5 review...

My company serves stock market data to a small number of users across the world. We joined up with Site5 because they represented themselves as happy to hold large amounts of data for sparsely-used sites, like ours (google: The Plan To End All Plans).

Too bad it's all a lie.

We established our site, serving our users happily until we got to about HALF our available allocation, then Site5 decided that they never really intended for anyone to actually USE their allocated space. They made up outrageous claims about our inode usage and CPU usage, which they then retracted when challenged on the facts, and ultimately dumped our site with 48 hours notice - much too short a time to actually retrieve our data!

In addition to this, we had numerous occasions where Site5 had just removed our data and we had to ask for it back. At one point they even moved us to a different physical host without telling us!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - THEY LIE LIE LIE.
